Plant Powered Playhouse is a family owned small business, with a vision to help educate and inspire on the health and sustainability benefits of being plant based and raising plant powered kiddos.  Our values are to be authentic, kind, curious and helpful, never to preach or shame people as every small step can make a big difference. 

We are lucky to live in beautiful Truckee, Lake Tahoe California but originally from the UK and are grateful we get to raise our son in nature. We have a toddler who has been plant powered since birth (he is thriving) and one of the reasons we started this company, to leave a legacy to him. Dean became plant based after a series of health issues as an endurance Ironman athlete and needed to be kind to his body, reset it and rebalance his energy with plant powered fuel. Dean has gone on to become a Kinesiology major and wants to help others on their nutritional journey to feel better. Needless to say he has never looked back and is stronger and faster (well age isn’t helping here) than ever! Leanne became vegetarian over 30 years ago due to her love of animals and became vegan when pregnant and has never felt better. Leanne has a business and marketing background in tech but as a cardiac athlete (open heart surgery as a kid) is passionate about health and wellness. 

Plant Powered Playhouse is a brand built around our love for all things animals, the earth and kindness to all. Our goal is to create resources that help families feel educated and inspired to raise Plant Powered kiddos. Coupled with products that kids want to wear and use that they love to represent spreading positivity, kindness and good vibes. 

We will not mass produce and each item is a one of a kind, small business produced. We are striving to balance sustainability, quality and cost. Creating products that last so the planet can thrive too.
